About the role
We are looking for a sharp, reliable Operations Intern to support the founder and executive team across day-to-day execution. In this role, you’ll keep the operational engine running: coordinating meetings, maintaining clean data in our systems, doing desk research, curating our knowledge base, and using AI tools to synthesize company documents into clear internal briefs and external content.
You’ll work closely with leadership across product, partnerships, and go-to-market to turn scattered inputs into organized outputs—meeting notes into action items, docs into structured knowledge, research into decision-ready summaries, and updates into lightweight blog/newsletter posts. This is a high-trust role for someone who’s detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to learn how an early-stage climate + healthtech company operates.
Required qualifications
Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Public Health, Policy, Information Science, or a related field
0–2 years experience in administrative support, operations, project coordination, or internship roles (climate orgs / healthtech startups preferred)
Strong written communication skills (clear, concise, and structured)
Comfortable with modern productivity tools:
Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Notion / Confluence / Coda (or similar knowledge bases)
CRM or database tools (Airtable, Attio, HubSpot, etc.) — nice to have
Familiarity with AI tools for summarization and drafting (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) with good judgment around confidentiality and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple small tasks without dropping details; strong follow-through
What we’re looking for
Operational reliability: you show up, track commitments, and close loops without needing repeated reminders
Meeting excellence: can schedule across time zones, draft agendas, capture notes, and publish action items with owners + deadlines
Data hygiene mindset: enjoys keeping systems organized—accurate contact records, tagging, naming conventions, and clean documentation
Research + synthesis: can quickly find credible sources, extract key insights, and produce short briefs tailored to the audience (founder vs. marketing vs. product)
Knowledge base curation: can turn messy folders into a usable internal “source of truth” (structured pages, summaries, links, and taxonomy)
AI-leveraged writing support: can draft blog updates and internal summaries while maintaining voice, accuracy, and proper sourcing
Discretion and professionalism: understands sensitive information, works carefully with confidential documents, and flags uncertainty instead of guessing
Mission alignment: motivated by practical sustainability and health impact—helping teams make progress that benefits people and communities over the long run
